More To It

This weekend I encouraged the fellowship to join me in prayer for a brand new outreach entitled More To It. For those who didn’t hear, we are airing 1-minute segments several times a day on WABC 770 AM in New York starting tomorrow morning, June 29th.

In each segment, I begin with a point of general interest, share a Biblical principle, and remind listeners that the principle is in the Bible, “there’s more to it than you think!”  The idea is to encourage secular audiences not to settle for preconceived notions about the Word of God, but to seek the truth for themselves!  I point listeners to our new web site, moretoit.org to learn more about the Bible, to hear the spots, receive Biblical resourcres, to check out excellent sites, etc.

Please take a moment to check the site out, and be lifting this outreach up in prayer!  As I mentioned during services, please pray for every aspect of More to It - for me as I record, for those who help me write the segments, the producers, editors, web servants, and especially the listeners!   Who knows what the Lord might do as we reach out to the New York/New Jersey metro area through this outreach on secular radio!
