MINISTRY IN PORT-AU-PRINCE

A team of three CC pastors & leaders flew into Santo Domingo (DR) yesterday and are currently en route to the compound set up by CC P-a-P outside the city.  Their goal is (a) to secure tents that we shipped from (and with the help of) CC Melbourne and get them to CC P-a-P (b) to bring in medical supplies carried from the US and purchased in the DR, and (c) to come alongside CC P-a-P’s pastor as he continues working to relocate his fellowship (not just the physical building — the entire fellowship).  We have received word that CC Philly is sending a medical team to further assist next week.  We are hoping to gain a better understanding over the next few days how we can best come alongside CC P-a-P in the weeks to come.

In the meantime, we have received word from leaders on the ground that in addition to the urgent and ongoing need for oral antibiotics and prescription pain medicine, the following items are needed by medical personnel ministering through CC P-a-P:

Neosporin
Ketoconazole cream
Ketoconazole pills
Nystatin 100,000 U ovules
Nifedipine pills 20 mg
Lisinopril pills
Ceftriaxone IV
Metronidazole IV
Benadryl syrup
Albuterol inhaler
Vitamins (adult, children’s and prenatal)
Protein powder
Glyburide pills
Metformin pills
Epinephrine s/c
Alcohol preps
Albendazole 400 mg pills
Mabendazole 200 mg syrup
Gloves
Hand sanitizer
Hibiclens
Masks

Donations of medical supplies can be dropped off at CCOB before or after all services, or at the church office during the week.  All supplies are hand-carried into Haiti and delivered directly to doctors and other medical workers.

Thank you for praying!
