Gen 13 with Abraham giving Lot the choice and he chooses the area of Sodom and Gommorah, only to see His choice go up in smoke due to the sin of this once lush area.

And picturing David running from Saul having to sed his family to Moab for protection. Remembering Ruth, his great grandmother was from Moab on the other side of the Dead Sea. David his in En-gedi area in a cave and later 2 Chronicles records how Jehoshaphat trusted the Lord for a victory against the Moabites and Ammonites who were sneaking up En-gedi to attack
