I uploaded a couple of pictures from our hotel right on the Sea of Galilee. As you can see it’s absolutely gorgeous.

Tel Dan is strongly believed to be the location of the city of Dan (Judges 17-18) and the location where the tribe of Dan was located. There is a gate found there, called Abraham’s Gate. It’s believed that Abraham would have passed through this gate with his men when he went after his nephew Lot who had been taken captive. (Genesis 14:14)

The Tel Dan altar is possibly one of the altars that Jeroboam established during his reign. (1 Kings 11-12)
