This final update with just a few of the highlights from our team returning from Mexico:1.  Outreach to Triqui community, especially Yolanda’s family who received furniture and whose boys were so blessed to sleep anywhere but the floor!2.  Time with Kathy and Steve - we had SUCH sweet fellowship, prayer, and ministry with them!  None of us wanted to leave them ever!  We kept them up late, crashed all over their house… we were truly like family.  We love them and miss them so much!3.  Time as a team - God did an AWESOME work knitting this group together.  Many of us didn’t know each other before the trip, and God gave us such sweet time together.  Even Kathy noticed it, saying how much this team was unique! 4.  Watching the Lord work in prayer - we prayed over EVERYTHING - when we struggled getting a tree out of the ground, we prayed.  When food was running out at the outreach, we prayed.  When we got stopped at customs, we prayed.  When we were going to be overcharged checking our bags, we prayed.  And in EVERY SINGLE case, God heard, answered, and worked!  It was truly an amazing lesson on NOT depending on self, on our own wits or plans - praying without ceasing was a theme and a highlight!5.  Time with the elderly - hearing their stories (sometimes just listening is such a blessing to them), massaging their hands and feet, painting the ladies’ nails… 6.  For the ladies - time at the Kathy’s Friday morning study for the missionaries.  What an incredible time of prayer, confession, and communion with each other and Him!  Truly a taste of what heaven will be…  For the guys - they really helped the missionaries get stuff done, like plumbing and electrical all over… Praise the Lord! Please continue to pray for God’s work in IDT, and also for the hearts of this team.  None of us will be the same, thank God!  Pray also that God would continue to remind us about that reliance on Him, that being like Jesus is not about “imitation but IMPARTATION,” not acting like Jesus, but having Jesus in US, working in and through!
